We do welcome farm visits by appointments so please don’t just “drop in” because we have little time to ourselves and truly need it and cherish it. We enjoy talking about what we do but please realize that we also have daily chores that need tending to, so respect our time as well.
We also welcome families but strictly ask that you tend to your children at all times. Our farm is a place to learn about animals and farm life, but it is our home as well and we do have rules and ask that you respect them. Animals are use to us….and can get scared easily by screaming and running children. Not that that is not allowed but it needs to be controlled.
We also ask that you leave your pets at home.
Once again, this is our home and we have 2 large dogs who love people but not other dogs and because we don’t want a casualty or injury to happen, please respect this. We realize that the urge to let your animals run around may be in the back of your mind, but there are other places to deal with pet energy. So that also means that if you have small children, please be aware that our pets love children but most of the time don’t realize how large they are, which can mean a lick on the face a time or two, or being knocked down as they do get excited to meet new people. Once you are there for a while, they calm down.
You may visit either farm, one near Argyle and one near Darlington but please be specific as to which one you would like to visit. Both may be arranged if planned ahead of time.
